Our Doctor
Dr. George Kardouss was born in Damascus, Syria. He earned his B.S. in Biology/Microbiology from Damascus University. He earned his M.S. in Medical Biology/Hematology from Long Island University in Brookville, New York. He remained in New York for a year where he did research work in immunology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. After that, he worked as a Laboratory technologist and supervisor at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI for 3 years.
Dr. Kardouss then decided to go back to school and attend Kent State University - College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. After graduating he completed a 3-year residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. While at Genesys, Dr. Kardouss received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction. He also worked significantly with diabetic wound care with an emphasis on limb preservation. During residency, he completed a podiatric dermatology and dermatopathology fellowship in Alpharetta, Georgia, and obtained additional certification in foot and ankle arthroscopy.
Dr. Kardouss lives in Grand Blanc, MI with his wife and 2 young kids. He enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and working around the house.

Dr. Kardouss is trained in the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Kardouss maintains an up-to-date medical knowledge. He regularly attends physician conferences and surgical courses. He has also presented and lectured to his colleagues and other medical staff at several podiatric conferences.
Dr. Kardouss also works to develop and maintain relationships with area physicians. This ensures continuity of patient care.
